About Me: "Music controls your soul" can be heard in harmony by all of the members of one of Orange County's upcoming bands: Two Tone Tantrum. While each member takes a turn singing leads, all members combine their voices and talent to create music reminiscent of (early) 1970's rock. Each member draws influences from Frank Zappa and Funkadelic to Sublime and Wolfmother, but might be mistaken for Cream if you're not paying close attention. In April 2007, Adam (guitar/vocals), Brett (bass/vocals) and Shane (drums/vocals/facial hair/horrible dresser) entered Big Scary Tree Studios in Los Angeles to cut their 2008 Demo. Mixed and mastered with Dennis Anderson at the local community college, this demo, local gigs (Galaxy Theatre, Coach House, House of Blues), outstanding musicianship and creativity of this young trio have attracted major label interest and a spot on Music Connection Magazine's Top 100 Unsigned Bands in Southern California (December 2007). Regular gigs in their hometown of Costa Mesa at eVocal have taken TTT's countywide draw to a higher ground. Catch Two Tone Tantrum at King Neptune's in Sunset Beach every month.
